東京の椎名町にOPENした焼き菓子と紅茶の店。
椎名町は主要駅の喧騒から離れた人の温もりを感じられ、施主の希望する”シンプルではあるが温かみのある空間”に最適な街でした。
人の気配を感じられるような空間を目指し、できる限り手作り感を感じられるように、ムラのある左官材、鉄材を溶接したファサードサッシ、
特注のテーブル、古木材の棚板など人の手が加わり完成するマテリアルをチョイスしました。
既存のスケルトン空間には鉄骨の赤い梁材が残っていたので、照明器具や空調機を同色で製作し、林檎色の天井を一部残しました。
「林檎と紅茶と」は、施主の温厚な雰囲気や声をかけてくれる地域の方々、焼き菓子のいい香りが一つ一つの要素となり完成するような空間になりました。

"Apple and Tea", a charming bakery and tea shop, has recently opened its doors in the quiet and warm neighborhood of Shiina Town, Tokyo. Nestled away from the hustle and bustle of the main stations, Shiina Town perfectly matched the client's vision for a space that's simple yet warm.

Aiming to create an atmosphere filled with human warmth, we selected materials that exuded a handcrafted feel. These include unevenly finished plaster, facades made from welded iron, custom tables, and shelves made of old wood, all lending a palpable touch of human craft.

The existing skeletal space featured red iron beams, which we chose to retain. We produced lighting fixtures and air conditioning units in the same color and preserved a section of the apple-colored ceiling, adding a unique touch to the overall decor.

In essence, "Apple and Tea" has been conceived as a space that embodies various elements - the mild and welcoming ambiance reflected by the owner, the friendly local community, and the pleasant aroma of baked sweets - culminating in a setting as comforting and warm as its name suggests.
